Growing up, I had occasional acne as a result of growing up. During the time of the month it becomes worse, but as days go by it clears up. I did use a cream prescribed by the doctors to keep it from getting worse.
It wasn’t until my entrance into university that my skin freaked out and started reacting. I went to the doctors and they prescribed antibiotics and gels to me. I purchased everything prescribed, started buying cleansers, toners and acne treatment that I never used before. I didn’t know my face was sensitive, so I always tell beauty assistants that my face wasn’t sensitive because I hadn’t seen any reaction. But in fact my face was worsening. It didn’t bother me so much because makeup became my ally.
Second year came by and I couldn’t cover my face with makeup without seeing huge lump of bumps. Yes, cystic acne that covered my cheeks, chin and jaw areas. This lowered my self-esteem as I wasn’t comfortable wearing makeup over it. I went to the doctors and they said the only solution was to take birth pills, Accutane, etc. Those were not an option for me.
So I went back home and got rid of all the face products I had, even the ones I purchased recently at that time. Remember my first blog post “Natural”. I decided to go natural from then on. I started drinking more water, eating only home made foods and increasing my gym activities.
To spike it up, I went to the mall with my friend and we made our way into Lush store. After convincing me that their ingredients were natural, I picked up these beauties and hands up, this is the best purchase of my life. Two months later and my skin is popping. I forgot to use them few weeks ago because of stress of school and life issues and my skin has begun to break out.
Second purchase and more to go.
Wonders beyond Wonder.
This is not a commercial, it’s reality.
