I’ll admit, i’m one of those people who leave all their skin routine behind and travel (shoot me). Not because I don’t love my skin (well my skin suffers a lot) but because I rather pack enough clothes and shoes with the thinking that I can buy skin stuff when i get there. Well, I learnt the worse way after my recent trip. As a result I solemnly vow to stick with my skincare routine. As many have said and i’m sure you have heard, I think it’s important to stay consistent with your beauty routine. Why? because “you only get one face” baby.
That’s why in this post, I’m sharing some tips on how to pack your beauty and skin care products when you travel, as well as showing you the products I brought with me when I was in Montreal in February.
If you’re traveling for a few days within the same climate condition, stick to your current skincare routine if not the first tip is to tailor your skin care regimen to the climate. If you’re jetting off to a tropical destination please leave your winter products behind and bring only what you need to (absorb the oil) keep your skin hydrated. If you are a makeup junkie like me, bringing what you need will make your toiletry bag a little lighter.
For my recent trip to Montreal, here are the beauty products I brought with me and also what I currently use at home in Toronto!
- Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-off Treatment
- Amore Pacific Treatment Cleansing Oil
- Dior Capture Totale One Essential Serum
- Clean Fragrance (Eau de Parfum)
- Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Cream
